4 Weeks!

Easton is 4 Weeks Old!

Dates: July 11th - 17th

Easton is now wearing Size 1 Pampers Swaddlers Diapers and 0-3 month clothes all the time. He has outgrown the newborn onesies.

He had his one month check up, and everything looks good.

One Month Check Up:
10 pounds, 1 ounce
20 1/2 inches long
The doctor suggested Mylicon drops for the gas pains he has been having.

Three Weeks Old!

Easton is 3 Weeks Old!

Dates: July 4th - 10th

We had a big week! We celebrated July 4th with family, took Easton to church, went to Ryan and Dana's baby shower at work, and got a new car!

*Easton began to wear some 0-3 month clothes this week. He had mainly been in newborn up until this week. I began pumping some this week and Easton took his first bottle while Daniel and I went car shopping. He took it like a champ! That was nice to know that bottles would not be an issue.

Week 2

Easton is 2 Weeks Old!

Dates: June 27th - July 3rd

We went back to the doctor for a 2 week check up and Easton weighed 8 pounds and 8 ounces. He is doing great, and eating very well. For the most part, we stayed at home and relaxed. He does not have a real schedule yet, still eating every 2 1/2- 3 hours. He loves to be outside or in the car seat. Those are our go-tos when we can't get him to stop crying.

We introduced Easton to his bouncer and activity mat this week. He loves the bouncer! It has been great to be able to put him in it. He is not into the swing yet.

Things we are using and enjoying: Still sleeping in the Fisher Price Rock'n'Play Sleeper. We love our Britax B-Safe Car Seat and B-Agile Stroller. The stroller is so easy! Fisher Price Bouncer and Infantino Play Mat. Aden + Anais Swaddle Blankets and burpy bib, MyBaby Homedics Sound Spa. Gerber mittens, Newborn onesies and gowns, Pampers newborn diapers, and Huggies wipes. Love our Blooming Bath as well!

Newborn Pictures

We had Easton's newborn pictures when Easton was 6 days old. Boy was it a day! I had no idea how hard it was to get newborn pictures! Little did I know that they had to be SOUND asleep to get him to cooperate. Our appointment was at 10:30 and at 11:45 we took our first picture. We tried everything in the books to get him to sleep (so we thought), and finally thought to swaddle him for a picture and it went from there. Three hours later we had some adorable pictures! I highly recommend Simply Elegant Photography - she was SO patient and we LOVE the sneak preview. All of the pictures turned out so good! Here are a few of our favorites.
